☀️Brunch with NO reservations at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’☀️ 📍Homecomin’ is located in The Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs 🐓 Ranked #8 of 94 Table Service locations in WDW by TouringPlans Subscribers ☀️The Rise ‘n Shine Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday only! 9:30am - 1:00pm. The full menu is available after 11:00am. 📆 ❓No Reservations ❓- yep. Disney Springs opens at 10:00am but security opens right at 9:00am. Head straight for Homecomin’ and drop your name at the walk-up desk out front. We got there at 9:15am and were seated immediately. There is always room at the”rope drop”! 🍳The Food- before we go on about how good everything was (so, so good) we have to note that we are never sponsored. We paid for our food & drinks & the only discount we ever get is the standard 10% AP. ☀️The Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, $20.00, aren’t on the brunch menu but they are one of the best things served here. No guarantees, but ask for them even if you get there before 11:00am. The hot honey is splendid and nobody does fried chicken like these folks. ☀️Our other two “must order” items are the Hush Puppy Benedict, $24.00, and the Hallelujah Biscuit, $26.00. If your youth was smattered with days on the lake and pimento cheese sandwiches for lunch, these two are probably going to be a hit. Both dishes taste like happy memories. Yep. That’s corny but it’s true. ☀️The French Toast was our least favorite but it’s still pretty spectacular- it’s just difficult to weigh any French toast- no matter how scrummy- against such wonderful fried chicken and a bevy of savory gravy. No contest. 🍹 The White Peach Sangria, $15.00, is the perfect cocktail with these dishes. It’s sweet and fruity and the moonshine-soaked peach is a prize. Go back and look at the serving size, too.
