I relate to her on SO many levels! She has helped me become more confident and to realize and understand the absolute beauty of embracing my true God given purpose! I’ve always believed in traditional values, I’ve always wanted to be in the type of relationship that’s based on traditional values and I’ve tried to cultivate that in previous relationships but the problem is, it doesn’t work when both people aren’t stepping into those roles, you can’t be a traditional woman for a man that’s not a traditional man and what I mean by that is if he’s not willing to commit to a traditional relationship and the roles and responsibilities in that then you won’t have a traditional relationship. It’s that simple. As a woman you can’t and shouldn’t submit to a man that’s not worth submitting to because not all men have the traditional values mindset and men, you can’t get traditional values from a woman that’s for the streets or who doesn’t see the beauty in that role and doesn’t have that mindset within her. A traditional relationship is a partnership and both people have their own value at the end of the day. One is essential the other to truly thrive, or at least that’s what I believe. A year ago I was blessed with a traditional man and I LOVE this life! I can honestly say I would set the world on FIRE for my man and I know he would do the same for me! I realize traditional relationships aren’t for everyone and that’s fine but in my world it’s my dream!!
