As a trans photographer, I believe that celebrating and showcasing the joy of my community is an act of defiance and needed now more than ever. In a world that tries to erase us, I’m committed to preserving our stories, our beauty, and our resilience through art. These images are the ones people need to see—photos that highlight the truth of our experience: the joy, the pride, the unapologetic existence of trans people. WE deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered. My art is my resistance. They don’t want us to exist, so we will exist louder. They want us invisible, so we will shine brighter. We’ve been here before Trump, and we’ll be here long after him. Our joy is a revolution. These moments I capture aren’t just art—they’re history.
