Replying to @Ciara_TN REALTOR There are so many other things I want to touch up on in the future. I wanted to see myself in books as a kid, Did I? No. Did I think anything bad/weird about it at the time? No? Do I wish younger me had access to stories that included my experience and demographic? YES! It’s important that young adults develop empathy for all groups of people. It’s important for every kid to feel validated within their community and identity(s).
