Hello everyone, Today, I want to share a deeply personal journey with you—my battle with Trichotillomania, which began in 2005. For nearly 20 years, I struggled with this condition, feeling the compulsive urge to pull out my hair. It was a long, very hard, and painful road, but I stand here today to tell you that there is hope. I have grown my own hair back. There are no more scalp spots, no extensions to hide, no wigs, and no makeup to cover bald spots. I no longer worry about how I look when I swim; I can dive in without a second thought. The opinions of others no longer control me because I’ve learned to love myself and embrace my journey. Even now, I sometimes find myself twiddling with my hair, only to stop myself. It's a constant reminder of how far I've come and the strength I've found within. After 20 years of carrying this burden, I have managed to kick it. And I'm here to tell you that you can too. Don't give up hope. Work on yourself for you. Understand why you're doing it, dig deeper, and learn about yourself. Most importantly, love yourself. This journey is personal, and it requires immense patience and self-compassion. Remember, you are not alone in this struggle. There is a path to healing, and you are stronger than you know. Keep pushing forward, believe in your ability to overcome, and know that hope is always within reach. Thank you.
