I love reading Ecclesiastes, which is right after Proverbs, because I believe it's a continuation of wisdom. As I read this scripture today, I had to sit with it a bit. Then, thinking back to the beginning with Adam & Eve. GOD gave them everything they needed to live and have life right there, yet they sought after what they did not have because of the lies of the devil. The devil's plot from the beginning was to make you look at what you do not have and want that! Though you have everything you need right with you, you seek after more, more, more. Totally missing the fact that you have everything already. At some point we must realize that GOD made us to be enough. Stop going out searching for things that you really don't need. I believe it's a vision problem. You have your eyes on the wrong things. You want more but you are not grateful for what you've already been blessed with. The only way to get back to the place of gratitude is to keep our eyes on Jesus and nothing else. That will shift us back to seeing that we have everything we need and we won't have to go searching for more. ππΎππΎ . .
