TIPS ON VISITING THE TULIPS FIELDS IN THE NETHERLANDS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ When planning your trip to The Netherlands to visit the tulip fields, there are many things to consider. But I’m here to help! Here is a list of good-to-knows to help you prep your trip. 1. Tulip season runs from March to May but this timing can vary based on the seasonality of the year. To play it safe, April typically is a good time to visit (but will always be more expensive as everyone else has the same idea.) 2. There are many tulip fields to visit. Keukenhof is the most well known field and gets quite a lot of visitors. Book in advance if you plan to visit this location! But there are many other locations you can visit as well. We picked Tulip Experience Amsterdam because I personally did not want to get overwhelmed by the crowds at Keukenhof and it was so affordable! 3. With that being said, there are many fields of tulips all along the roads. PLEASE do not visit these fields unless you are invited or paid to do visit. Many farmers have reported that their fields have been ruined by tourists in the last couple years. Please remember this is someone’s livelihood. 4. You can get to the fields by hiring a car, booking a group trip, train, or biking. However, not all of these are going to be super straight forward and you will need to do some planning. This is totally up to you but we booked a car for the day and we were super happy we did this! Seeing the tulip fields in the Netherlands was truly so much fun and I’m so glad I was able to experience this and I hope these tips helped you plan your trip as well!
