But look at those WBC COUNTS OOOOOOF 😱 Sometimes pets dealing with pyometra can have very vague signs 😮🩺 that’s why most pets with pyometra are seen, unfortunately, later in the illness, when things are more severe 😭 So the rule is that any ill female pet drinking an increased amount of water and has not been spayed should have pyometra as one of its top suspicions. This is especially true if there is a vaginal discharge or a painful, enlarged abdomen 🙂🩺 Don’t forget, pyometra is a life threatening condition, so let’s make sure to get bloodwork and x-rays done next to either rule out the disease, or confirm and cut 🙂🩺 Hope this helps!
