SAVE FOR LATER! I see this mistake so often in women my age and older! And honestly, it does make sense, but it causes the wrong effect. When you apply a light, white color, especially a shimmer, from lashes to brows, it will actually accent your hood. It does not create the lift and dimension you’re desiring and need. Instead, you can take that lighter color and apply it to your mobile lid, then grab a medium to dark shade and apply it in and above your crease. When our faces change, we need to change. One of the biggest changes I made was adjusting to a darker color for my foundation. Most of us will need to foundation shades. But don’t think more expensive! You’re only adding each shade in key areas. I use a darker shade of my redness, this gives me the ability to not pack on more and more of a lighter foundation shade to get it covered, it actually cancels it out using the darker shade.
