Checking into the @hotelaka.alexandria in @visitalexva for a solo staycation to kick off my first adventure of 2025 💌 January is an especially great time to consider a staycation for these reasons: 1. It’s the perfect way to take time for yourself and reset + reframe your mindset heading into a new year. 2. Rates are cheaper in January (especially on the weekdays!) because it’s a less popular time to travel. Hotels will also frequently run discounts and specials during this time of year. 3. Hotels are less busy, which means common areas, amenities, and restaurants are quieter. Take advantage of all the amenities with an everything shower + robe, great workout, fun cocktail at the hotel bar, or order room service for breakfast in bed. 4. Your event calendar is less packed, so you actually have the time to book a staycation and enjoy it, without feeling stressed or overwhelmed. 5. Use it as an opportunity to accomplish one of your 2025 goals! Read your first book of the year, try out a new fitness class, visit that restaurant/coffee shop/cocktail bar nearby that’s always been on your bucket list. #solotravel #solostaycation #staycation #visitalexandria #visitalx #alexandriava #stayaka #hotelaka
