Ruby had some Christmas money to spend. Today we happened past one of my favorite paper stores in Australia. If you know me, I can’t walk past one without going in and I’m 99% of the time spending some money. It brought me so much joy to see Ruby flow through the store picking out her first notebook, pen, cat stickers and some @mt_masking_tape at @milligramstore in Adelaide. She was SO proud and afterwards she would not let anybody carry her bag. She insisted on staying the course and it was HILARIOUS to watch the progression of bag carrying techniques! I hope you enjoy it a bit yourself 🤪 I obviously did not exit empty handed! Trying out a new pen from @ystudiostyle and so far “chefs kiss”. Got my own stash of new tape, pen holder and tape dispensers. Funny story. Flying from Egypt to Ethiopia at like 1 in the morning I had my washi tape confiscated from my carry on!!! I was enraged! Frank thought I was going to get us detained! I’d just collected them from all over Asia and can remember the places I’d purchased them, they were oddly tied to memories and I was so sad! Don’t mess with a girl and her washi tape at 1am! The guy felt sorry for me and let me choose one to keep. Thankfully I didn’t bring my whole collection! Lesson: don’t travel with washi tape in your carry on.
