Every Sunday afternoon/evening, I do 3 things to set myself up for success for the week. (Except this week it’ll be on Tuesday because holiday + snow day in Texas!!) 1️⃣ LAUNDRY - make sure all of the school uniforms and ready to go in the right place. Even belts and shoes. Everything has a home and the boys are great about keeping things in the right place, but I always run a check to make sure we don’t have any “MOM, WHERE IS MY…” when we are supposed to have already left for school. LOL 2️⃣ WEEKLY MAP - this is the family’s plan for the week that I map out to make sure we don’t have any “need to be in 3 places at once” kind of situations. I also plan our meals (on a different tearpad! I tagged it here!) 3️⃣ LUNCHBOX COOKING - I set the slow cooker to cook overnight so that chicken for lunchboxes is ready to go in the morning. I store it in the fridge and warm it up for lunchboxes every school day. And I also use it for my own lunches throughout the week. These are the NON-NEGOTIABLES…must do’s each week. I often do other things, but these 3 happen every week.
