Los Angeles’ food community has demonstrated inspiring resilience and generosity. Many restaurants have stepped up to support people impacted by wildfires as the dining industry continues to face its own challenges. Dine LA provides a meaningful way to support the local restaurant community while fostering a sense of comfort and connection. An ode to Los Angeles~ Please read caption I have lived in Los Angeles for many years. While at times it became a bit of a love hate relationship, there is no denying that is has an energy all of its own; one that can never be duplicated. A friend of mine in LA recently said the following “At its core, Los Angeles is a proud blue-collar city with people from all walks of life. And then the creative black sheep from every family in America comes here to create art together. Do you realize how beautiful that is?”- Payman Benz. He’s right. Temporada Co was conceptualized in Santa Monica, California in late 2020, and has continued to evolve and transform as I have moved around the city. I didn’t fully know what I was creating when I started this account. All I knew, was that I had an idea that I hadn’t had the time to act upon. Recently, I was looking through the comments on some of the more popular TikToks on this page. And I was reminded (and honestly, very touched and humbled) that so many of you liked the tiktoks I was creating. To everyone here, I’m so glad that you found this page and thank you for being here. I know that this space wouldn’t have been created had I not been in LA. I owe a lot of personal growth to this city and I intend to spend more time on this account this year. For this weeks recap video, I wanted to take a pause from the “Late Bloomer series” and focus more on the families affected by the fires in La. Please if you can, many of these families have go fund me’s to help. I also wanted to share that I have a volunteer group on insta and ALL are welcomed to join. Just please dm me and I’ll add you.
