The food is also top knotch and stands out as one of the best Supper Clubs we’ve eaten at! 🥃Favorite Wisconsin Supper Clubs:⁣ 📍Club 23 in Wisconsin Dells, WI 🍖Club 23 is a classic Wisconsin Supper Club smack dab in the middle of nowhere. (And I really don’t feel like I’m exaggerating when I say that.) It’s literally located right in the middle of a corn field! Don’t let the location or simple exterior fool you. The food here is great! 🧄We started our meal with the Creamy Garlic and Mushroom Crostini. This was the absolute favorite part of my meal! It’s super unique and delicious and definitely has some more upscale flavors. 🥩For dinner, Mike got the Prime Rib and Scallops. The scallops were just okay, but the Prime Rib was great! Definitely be prepared for a GIANT piece of meat. 🍽️I got a classic Perch Fish Fry which definitely rated as one of my new top Fish Frys! Details & Location in Caption⬇️ 🍔The Oldest Hamburger Stand in Wisconsin 📍Pete’s Hamburger Stand in Prairie du Chien, WI 💡Only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. @peteshamburgerstand has been run by the same family since 1909. Pete Gokey opened the original Hamburger Stand in 1909 where he began cooking his signature boiled Hamburgers. Hamburgers are the ONLY item on the menu and you can get your Hamburger topped with or without Onions, as well as Ketchup, Yellow Mustard or Brown Mustard. I’m going to be honest....I was a little hesitant to try a boiled hamburger since it reminded me of White Castle and I really don’t love White Castle burgers. (Mike on the other hand LOVES White Castle) So I was SUPER surprised by how much I loved the boiled hamburgers at Pete’s Hamburger Stand! They cook/boil the burgers along with a TON of onions and the deep rich onion flavor really makes the flavor of the burgers pop. Plus the simple condiments of ketchup and mustard really come together to create a truly terrific burger. P.S. Many moons ago I worked in oral surgery and for some reason the surgical coats and pants we wore were stark white. So we had to use this little trick a lllloooot😆👏🏻 But now as a mom, it comes in handy.
