This puffer is entirely hand-crocheted, but I made a huge mistake at first. The outer layer is made of crocheted granny squares, and I failed to realize that the gaps in crochet aren’t great for insulation or securing the filling. So, I had to get creative. I designed baffles using a different fabric to hold the filling securely and keep the jacket warm.Then, I used the hand-crocheted squares as the outer layer to maintain that unique, handmade aesthetic. This fleece jacket has over 300,000 embroidery stitches, making it one of the most beautiful designs I’ve created to date. 
It’s inspired by Chinese landscapes and embroidered in a porcelain blue colorway. The zipper is crafted from an actual leaf, adding a natural element that ties into the landscape theme. I also lined the jacket with cotton-linen, making it soft, breathable, and comfortable on the skin.
