Three Arrested in Double Homicide at Cross Lake Apartments in Shreveport Shreveport, La – Two cousins were fatally shot during a drug-related incident at Cross Lake Apartments on December 27, 2024. Shreveport Police Department (SPD) officers responded to the apartments at 5660 S. Lakeshore Drive at 10:24 PM. There, they found 21-year-old Tristavian Datcher suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Ochsner Health but succumbed to his injuries at 11 PM. Shortly after, Jakeva Datcher, also 21, was discovered in an SUV near Curtis Lane and Carondelet Drive. She had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at 10:36 PM. Homicide detectives determined the shootings occurred during a narcotics transaction at the apartments. A subsequent investigation led officers to a residence in the 2200 block of W. College Street. SPD’s Special Response Team executed a search warrant, utilizing newly acquired equipment, including an armored vehicle. Three suspects were arrested during the operation: • Alissa Rodgers (18) • Rufus Anderson (20) • Deaiviantae Davis (21) Each was charged with two counts of second-degree homicide and booked into the Shreveport City Jail. The Caddo Parish Coroner identified the victims. These deaths mark the 53rd and 54th homicides in Caddo Parish this year.
