It was a profound honor to begin my journey with the World Economic Forum @worldeconomicforum by dancing to the music @yoyoma of Yo-Yo Ma’s “The Arrival of Birds” during the opening of the Annual Meeting in Davos 2022. Since then, I have had the privilege of being recognized as a Cultural Leader, thanks to @jfwef , and as a Young Global Leader since April 2024. Today, I witnessed a historic moment: Syria’s first-ever participation in the forum, represented by Minister Asaad Al-Shibani @asaad_shaibani of Foreign Affairs. This marks a pivotal step following Syria’s newfound freedom. What an incredible milestone! I am filled with hope and anticipation for what the future holds for Syria, its resilient people, and my own journey. There is so much potential and optimism in the air.
