Relationships are all about a very delicate balance of strengths and roles. For example, Chris is an expert at making my morning coffee order perfectly (2 pods @Nespresso USA Sunny Almond Vanilla Over Ice) and I’m an expert at drawing the most relaxing bath. I mean, I couldn’t possibly leave my bath to refill my coffee when I have a @Prose hair mask in 🙃 #couple #Relationship #funny #yummertime
This one took a little longer than expected, and we still have a few things to resolve 😅 but otherwise we’re calling our primary bathroom “mini makeover” a major success — we have a new tub, so Brock can take as many long, relaxing baths as he wants… he might even be in there right now 😬 Our goal was to refresh the space, to give it a spa-like feel, leaning into all of the existing travertine tile. We chose a paint shade that matched the travertine and swapped out most of the old bathroom hardware with polished nickel. We LOVE the pairing of polished nickel and travertine. What do you think? Stay tuned for how we style the space 🙃 Paint: Behr Roman Plaster Tub + faucet: Kohler, Artifacts Collection Toilet + bidet seat: Kohler Vanity and ceiling lights: Visual Comfort, Kelly Wearstler Collection Recessed lighting: NuWatt Lighting Bathroom Hardware: Rejuvenation, Howell Bath Collection Drawer pulls: cb2 #Home #homedecor #homeimprovement #homerenovation #yummertime #yummerhome
I can’t believe we found these pieces on marketplace, we really lucked out 🥹 excited to show you how we style everything! 💞C #homedecor #vintagefinds #Home #yummertime #yummerhome
We just found out we *might* be going to Italy together for the first time, which is crazy since it’s been at the top of our travel bucket list for the entirety of our 14-year relationship 🥹🤞 It immediately had us thinking about all of the yummy foods we’re about to try, and, of course, left us craving pasta for dinner last night. I always keep the ingredients for Pasta Alla Vodka on hand, since it’s one of Chris’ favorites 😊 it’s super easy to pull together, is truly delicious, and pairs perfectly with a date night spent watching The Traitors. Full ingredient list and recipe in the carousel above, but here are some tips: - In my recipe I like to use 2 full shallots, but this can be adjusted (honestly everything can be!) - Always give the tomato paste time to caramelize, this doesn’t take long but makes all the difference, tomato paste should darken, but not burn - I used rotini, but you can use whatever pasta shape you like! I also love paccheri 🤤 -Don’t forget to reserve some pasta water to add back into the sauce!! 🫶B #EasyRecipes #Home #homecooking #datenight #yummertime

We’ve taken a little bit of time off from working on our home, but we’re finally back to it. The break was somewhat unintentional or maybe we have been intentionally avoiding all of our house projects. Some days the idea of tearing up our home and putting it back together is just less appealing than enjoying our backyard or bing watching a season of Survivor 🤷‍♂️ In all honesty, working on the house is incredibly rewarding, but it’s also daunting — it doesn’t always feel like we know exactly what we’re doing and a lot of the time you’re seeing us learn how to do things for the first time. It certainly is a lot of work transforming a house into a home, but we do love it. One of the solutions we’ve found to combat moments of fatigue has been focusing on all of the small projects that make up the entire project. Getting lost in the big picture certainly overwhelms us, but completing smaller projects is doable, right? So naturally, in our typical fashion of kicking off new projects before finishing the ones we’ve already started, we decided to give our primary bathroom what we’re calling a “mini makeover,” since we wanted to refresh the space before we fully renovate it later on (when the money tree out back finally bears its fruit 😅😂)! And, we’re kicking things off by patching this big hole in the ceiling. Just one small, manageable task that will ladder up to completing our bathroom in next few weeks 🫶B #homedecor #homeimprovement #homerenovation #yummertime #yummerhome

Because I’m a hot slice too! 🍕 #couple #foodtiktok #yummertime
Replying to @Meg Hoang The only question is, why aren’t these on every toilet? The @Kohler PureWash E930 Elongated bidet toilet seat has completely leveled up our bathroom to feel like a spa, and who doesn’t like a spa? 🧖🏻‍♂️🧖🏻‍♂️ #Home #homedecor #homeimprovement #yummertime #yummerhome
Curb has seen better days 😅 but we finally planted these ‘ponytail’ feather grasses in the front yard. We say “finally” since we brought them home last fall 😬 and after putting the planting off for months (and the stress of not planting them weighing on us for months), we feel so much lighter. And very accomplished! We both have a tendency to make small tasks seem a lot bigger than they actually are (maybe it’s the same for you?), and that’s when we end up procrastinating. But, 10/10 times, the anxiety of putting something is worse than the actual task at hand. Unless it’s replastering your walls, because we wouldn’t wish that on anybody! #garden #gardening #gardentok #yummertime #yummerhome
I’m 99% sure nothing makes my husband happier than a day at Disneyland. This was first revealed when, after less than a month of dating, Chris surprised me with a Disneyland annual pass for my 21st birthday — a gift I fully believe was intended for the benefit of its giver. Though, I have to admit, after a few trips, I quickly fell in love with Disneyland too, mostly because we were spending time together there when Chris would come down to UCLA to visit me from Cal. We’ve had annul passes (or “Magic Keys” if you want to speak in Disney lingo), on and off for the past 14 years — but when we moved to LA in 2021, returning to Disneyland was a nonnegotiable. We’ve been so focused on the house that I thought we wouldn’t have time to go to Disneyland (a lie!), so we took a year off. But, Chris has been such a good boy, patiently waiting for annual passes to go back on sale, and I’ve been getting an early start on working towards my husband of the year award, so we are pass holders once again! And, after getting back to the parks this year, I realized how necessary it is to take Chris to his happy place. Our happy place. The happiest place on earth 😅 🫶B #disneyland #disneytiktok #couple #yummertime #LifeIsGood
