im sorry ive been panic accenting lately. but yeah. i dont abuse my kids and i rely heavily on therapy so i can be the best mom & give them the best childhood and thats how i spend my “fun” money. so just fyi i do not condone the precieved actions of 17 diaper lady but i am greatful for the unifying that trend did have. #17diapersmom #17diapers

listen, i’m not going to say this often, but if i can do it, you can too. i was embarrassed, insecure, and extremely uncomfortable stepping into a gym after my amputation, but i knew my goals were worth it. and the only way i was going to reach them was by putting in the work. (the goal was paralympic medals not a body aesthetic just for clarity) whatever your goal is: start slow (whether that’s at a gym where you feel safe - like women only space - or going at an hour when it’s less busy), show up consistently and give yourself the gift of discomfort by challenging yourself in new ways. you’re worth the effort. wearing: @athleta #AthletaPartner #PowerOfShe #Athleta #BodyAcceptance #PersonalGrowth

there was a time in my life when i thought my athletic career was over. there was also a time when i believed no one would love me because i had one leg. but, as it turns out, life rarely goes as planned—sometimes in the best ways, sometimes in ways that are… less than great. either way, you can move through it all in ways you never imagined.

two truths can coexist: on 1 hand i love the life i created with 1 leg. on the other hand I miss living in society with 2 legs. #amputeehumor #disabilityhumor

listen. i know what my parents paid for my cancer treatment. i know what my friends parents paid for their childrens cancer treatments. i know what some families paid and those kids did not survive. thankful for the go fund mes, the benefits and fundraising so many people did on my behalf that saved my life because without it, i would be alive from cancer but my future would be dead because id never recover financially. something needs to change.
