This place is all about family-style portions and when I say Italian-sized I mean one plate feeds, like, four people. Maybe five… if you’re being polite. Jersey has the 💎’s!! J. Alexander’s recently opened there doors in Clifton, New Jersey and it’s worth loading up the ez-pass for. The menu focuses on elevated American dishes with a sexy ambiance. The cocktails are quality and with the exception of a few things, all of the menu items are made in house, which lets me know they know exactly what they’re doing in the kitchen. 📍J. I had a nice feast but if I had to choose My top 3 favorite dishes, it’d be the Mac and Cheese (loved the bread crumbs on top), Steak Maui (Marinated in their house made sauce) and the Grilled Salmon. Lala which is Bad Bunny’s upscale restaurant located at The Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico. A blend of Japanese and Spanish cuisine. Food was fire and so were the drinks. The crispy skin duck breast or Kurobuta Pork Double Chop - equally delicious. 2. El Iman - some of the best mofonogo we had while there. Also was in love with the Arepa reopens de pollo with a coconut patty 😮‍💨. Pina colada was $8 and shots were $1-$5 (henny, patron & remy martin). You can also walk the strip of other quick bites and hit the beach. 3. Eter had the best rooftop view of the city! Filet Mignon tacos were 🔥 and $8 mojitos! 4. Playa Condado beach was beautiful! A little busy/tourist but we enjoyed it. 5. It’s rooftop szn 🌇! There’s a ✨NEW✨ rooftop in Hell Kitchen called Hudson VU with incredible views of the city. Located on top of the Ink Hotel, a sleek indoor-outdoor rooftop bar and restaurant. 📍 Hudson Vu / 653 11th Ave , New York City The cocktails were delicious, shoutout to the bar tender! But the food was impressive. I definitely recommend the fried chicken pans cornbread presented in a Birdcage. It was fireeee! I also really enjoyed the corn ribs (my new fav dish). Only in NYC can you enjoy fine dining on a luxury double decker bus with a panoramic roof!
