Not every transformation can be an episode sadly. Contrary to popular belief, filming content while actively trying to be a hairdresser and do color science is exhausting and I always wanna make sure that my clients are getting the best from me so sometimes that means not filming. There’s also a lot that goes on behind the scenes that you don’t know about for example: Photo number five- I couldn’t get her hair to lift past yellow-orange. Photos one and two: I took time to cry in the back room multiple times while she was processing. Photo number six: I pulled something in my back and was working through the pain Photo number seven: The desired outcome was changed on me at least four times during that appointment. I get asked a lot if I do “normal” hair colors. Yes. Yes I do. I’m not lived in blonde specialist but I am definitely learning some placements to become better at it bc they are especially beautiful with vivids. Used my tried and true @Kenra Professional simply blonde lightener & kept the @Olaplex for the toner! Also if you haven’t tried @Matrix tonal control what are you even doing? When @Olaplex first came out, it was ONLY No. 1 & No. 2. & the ways in which you could use No. 1 were endless. When I moved to the Midwest & was starting over again I told myself I was going to be more selective in the types of hair I did. I wasn’t going to take any and every one that inquired bc tbh not everyone who inquires is meant for me. Which sadly means I don’t accept everyone who fills out the new client form. I also was just emerging from a 5 year burnout when I moved here and was JUST starting to love doing hair again. I did not want to muck that up by doing processes I didn’t want to do.
