Being overdue is an emotional (and physical) rollercoaster let me tell ya! 😅 At 41+3 my midwife was helping me do everything I could to avoid an induction. We did a membrane sweep and then she loaded me up with evening primrose oil capsules to help my cervix ripen and be ready in case my body decided to start laboring. She suggested taking a castor oil concotion to really maximize my chances of inducing labor. *Disclaimer* if you’re pregnant, DO NOT do that without the council and recommendation of your medical provider! I was hesitant but desperate.
