Every been told your labs look “good” or “normal” but you still have acne…🫠 I’m here to tell you that’s maybe because you haven’t actually had in-depth panels or markers run that would uncover anything and/or they weren’t interpreted in functional ranges. Unfortunately, your traditional doc might overlook key labs that could uncover the root cause of your breakouts because they’re not trained to know what to run, constraints with insurance, billing, and more. Here are 3 labs your doctor probably isn’t running that can give you real answers: 👉🏼An in-depth stool analysis: Your gut is everything when it comes to acne - digestion, detoxification, inflammation, immune function, and even hormone regulation are all tied to gut health. A stool test like the GI-MAP (what I run on all clients) can reveal hidden issues like dysbiosis, H. pylori, candida, parasites, and more. 👉🏼A comprehensive hormone panel: Your hormones are a major player in acne, but a basic panel often misses the full picture. A DUTCH test (my favorite) or detailed bloodwork (think testosterone, progesterone, DHEA-S, insulin, estradiol, and more) helps identify imbalances that may be driving your skin issues. But again, we need to side by side address WHY they are off as hormones are just responding to other imbalances. And optimal ranges are KEY. 👉🏼Vitamin D levels: How this one still gets forgotten about is beyond me😅 Vitamin D isn’t just about bone health - it supports your immune system, reduces inflammation, and helps with hormone production..SO many more things. Low levels are a common missing piece in acne cases and I see it VERY often. So again, always advocate for yourself. There is ALWAYS a reason your body is experiencing acne. Having difficulties with your provider running tests you’d like to take a look at?🧪Check out my solo testing option interpreted by me to get data on your case! #acne #acnetreatment #acnepositivity #acneproblems #clearskin #healingacne #acnetips #hormonalacne #acnehelp Acne help acne healing hormonal acne acne treatment Every been told your labs look “good” or “normal” but you still have acne…🫠 I’m here to tell you that’s maybe because you haven’t actually had in-depth panels or markers run that would uncover anything and/or they weren’t interpreted in functional ranges. Healing acne for good requires looking at: ☁️What you eat - Are you nourishing your body properly? ☁️Your lifestyle – Is stress management part of your routine? ☁️Your gut health – Is your digestion optimized? Do you have dysbiosis? Leaky gut? ☁️Your habits – Are you creating a foundation of wellness that works for YOU? 👉🏼If this resonates, I’m here to guide you. Hear me out… We’ve been sold this idea that healing acne requires cutting out half the food groups and living on bland, “safe” meals. 👉🏼But let me tell you, acne is not caused by eating a piece of cheese or enjoying dessert last night. It’s about what’s happening BENEATH the surface: your gut health, blood sugar stability, stress level, inflammation levels, and how well your body can detoxify. When you heal from the inside out, these foods stop being the “problem.” The key is addressing the root causes behind your breakouts: 🧪Is your gut lining strong, or are you reacting to foods because of poor gut health or leaky gut? 🧪Are your blood sugar levels stable, or are spikes and crashes driving androgen production and inflammation? 🧪Are your stress levels under control, or is cortisol pushing your hormones and skin into overdrive? 🧪Are your drainage pathways open and your liver supported to process toxins and hormones efficiently? When we address these factors holistically, there’s no reason you can’t enjoy dairy, sugar, gluten, and eggs in moderation while still clearing your skin. Balance > restriction. It’s not about demonizing food - it’s about working with your body instead of against it. Healing isn’t just about your skin..it’s about enjoying your life, having food freedom, and feeling confident in your choices!! Cutting out everything you love isn’t sustainable or even necessary for long-term results🤍 #acne #acnetreatment #acneproblems #acnehelp #hormonalacne #healingacne #acnetips #clearskin #acneproneskin acne help healing acne acne foods #fungalacne #clearskintips hormonal acne healing acne

You don’t need a $200 serum or a fancy red light mask to heal your acne. But let’s be real..while healing acne can be simple, it’s not always easy. Sometimes, chronic acne stems from deeper issues like gut dysbiosis, past medications, or hormonal imbalances that need more nuanced support. There’s no doubt about that.. 👉🏼AND that said, no matter where you are on your skin journey, focusing on the foundations consistently is what truly moves the needle. These steps may sound simple, but building consistency around them takes work - and they’re often the most overlooked yet MOST impactful pieces of the puzzle. Healing your skin doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Start with the basics, be consistent, and know that small daily shifts lead to big changes over time. Most people want to jump to niche changes too fast without spending the time to lay the foundation☁️ #acne #acnetreatment #acneproblems #acnehelp #hormonalacne #healingacne #acnetips #clearskin #acneproneskin #hormonalacnesolution #fungalacne #acneskincare #acnejourney hormonal acne acne healing acne tips acne doctor
