Last year, I had the opportunity to speak at the @Free To Be Me Retreat and the @FAACTnews Digital Influencer Summit✨ It was an incredible experience to share how I navigate life with allergies and offer my tips, knowledge, & advice. But what was even more special was being in a room full of people who understood what it’s like to live with allergies. It was inspiring to see how each person managed their allergies in their own way, but at the end of the day, we all shared the same goal: staying safe and spreading awareness 🩵 There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to living with food allergies. Some people eat out, while others prefer to cook at home. Some travel, while others don’t feel comfortable doing so. Some explore treatment options, while others choose to stick to strict avoidance. At the end of the day, you and your allergist are the only ones who can decide what’s best for you. But what’s undeniable is the power of community in this journey. Whether you just got your diagnosis or have been managing allergies for years, knowing you’re not alone makes all the difference. We’re all in this together, sharing our stories, learning from one another, and supporting each other every step of the way. & I think that sense of community is the key in navigating life with allergies 🫶
