How did they get their names? The internet loves to mock their names. But we love them and God gave us most of them. Our first 5 children’s names we just picked what we thought was cute. We started with Anissa. It was a spin off of my name Karissa. Then we had Andrae and decided instead of doing a junior we would just take the M off of Mandraes name. And then we had two A names and didn’t want our 3rd child to feel left out so we picked a cute name. We didn’t know we would have a big family or even more than 3 children. So with each child we just kept up with the As so they wouldn’t feel left out. Then by child 6, our faith had become strengthened and we learned that Yahuah wanted to name our children. We had had 3 girls in a row and were convinced baby #6 was a boy. We had a family park gender reveal and found out it was a girl. We were kinda crushed because we were so convinced it was a boy. On our way home, as I was praying, Yahuah told me to name her Aynjel because she would be an angel. And she was literally born just that. So after her birth we started asking Yahuah for names. He would give them to me in prayer. It’s always so fun to get to know the next child by the name Yahuah gives. The coolest thing is seeing them born and living out what Yahuah spoke over them. A few days before I gave birth to arrow, Yahuah told me in prayer the baby would shoot out like an arrow. I honestly didn’t think it was literal but it was. He was born exactly like that! I didn’t even know I was in labor and he just shot out. It was absolutely a miraculous dream birth and gave even more meaning to his name. #arrowchosen #family #faith #blessed #11kids #thecollinskids #motherhood #names
