Your Banchan Bestie is back šŸ™ƒ Sauce:Ā  * 2 tbsp Korean red pepper flakesĀ  * 1tbsp SugarĀ  * 1tbsp Plum extract (can replace with sugar) * 2 tbsp Soy sauceĀ  * 2 tbsp VinegarĀ  * 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced * Sprinkle sesame seeds on top (optional) 1. Mix sauce together 2. Slice up 1 cucumber as thick or thin as youā€™d like (I like to use 1 large english cucumber) 3. Mix all togetherĀ  Some people like to salt and rinse the cucumbers first so it expels less water throughout the week. You can also add some red pepper paste to make the sauce more creamy. And I replaced 1 tbsp of sugar with plum extract, but sugar or any sweetener is just as good.Ā  #banchan #koreansidedish #cucumber
a true labor of love!! Full recipe below. Cut your brisket into chunks. Submerge in water several times. Then, add your meat to a large pot and boil on high. skim the bubbly impurities from the surface then simmer on medium low heat for two hours. TIP: to elevate and add flavor, add radish, onion and garlic to your water Once the meet is finished cooking, let the brisket cool then remove the fat. Shred by hand. It should easily shred when fully cooked! Now, time to season to your taste. Measure with your heart. Orā€¦ 1-2 tablespoons minced garlic 2-3 tablespoons of green onions 1-2 tablespoons of soup soy sauce 1-2 tablespoons of sesame oil 1 tablespoon of gochugaru 1 tablespoon tuna sauce (OPTIONAL) 1 tablespoon of roasted sesame seeds (OPTIONAL) Toss it together then move to Tupperware. Let it sit in the fridge for at least one hour before serving! This banchan should last in the fridge for a week or so <3 #banchan #EasyRecipe #koreanrecipes #koreanfood #costcofinds #brisket

where the Koreans go for korean barbecue šŸ˜‰ I seriously love this spot and think their meat quality is one of the absolute BEST especially with their reopen! New location is on 4th & Western! it IS pricey but youā€™re paying for quality and I personally like it best compared to similar options like parks bbq. I highly recommend the chef cut combo. The boneless short rib and marinated galbi were favorites. The nangmyun or Korean cold noodles also paired well and I loved ALL the banchan and the kimchi jigae too! You can even get sā€™mores if u do a review or story lol. #koreanbarbecue #kbbq #koreanfood #meatlovers #galbi #banchan #ktownla #koreatown #laeats #losangelesfood
