What I Eat to Help Shrink My Fibroids šŸŒæ First, a quick disclaimer: this is my journey and what works for me. Everyoneā€™s body is different, and fibroid management is deeply personal. But if youā€™ve been following me, you know Iā€™ve been open about my battle with fibroidsā€”a condition that affects so many Black womenā€”and Iā€™m choosing to approach this holistically. One of the biggest changes Iā€™ve made is in my diet: āœØ Iā€™ve cut back on excessive bread and dairy. The only dairy I still consume are eggs and butterā€”cheese is a rare guest on my plate. āœØ I swapped out rice for bulgur, a healthier alternative thatā€™s been working well for me. āœØ Alongside my diet changes, Iā€™m drinking herbal teas, doing castor oil packs at night, and trying to stay active with daily steps. āœØ Also taking my supplements (D3 fish oil, K2 ,B2, magnesium) Do I stick to everything perfectly? Absolutely not. Some nights, the castor oil pack doesnā€™t make it on, the tea doesnā€™t get brewed, and the steps donā€™t get counted. But one thing Iā€™m staying consistent with is my diet because, for me, itā€™s been a game-changer (oopsā€”letā€™s say life-shifter instead šŸ˜…). This is a new journey for me, and Iā€™m learning as I go, adjusting to find the right routine that fits my life. What changes have you made for your health recently? Drop a ā¤ļø in the comments if youā€™re on a journey to prioritize yourself too. #FibroidAwareness #BlackWomenHealth #HolisticHealth #FibroidSupport #HealthyEating #DietAndHealth #BulgurOverRice #NaturalHealing #CastorOilPacks #SelfCareJourney

As Black women, it is so important to take time for yourself and pour back into yourself, especially when youā€™ve done so much advocacy. However, I also believe itā€™s important to still pour into and care for our community and make sure we are taking care of one another. Weā€™ve been fighting this fight for hundreds of years, and we will continue to fight for equity, equality, and dignity. #blackwomenhealth

This year weā€™re prioritizing rest like our lives depend on itā€”because they do! Stress is a silent thief that takes our joy, our health, and our peace. But not in 2025!šŸ™…šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø This is the year we say NO to burnout and YES to intentional rest!šŸ§˜šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø Rest isnā€™t laziness ā€”itā€™s self-preservation!šŸ’• Itā€™s where our creativity is reignited, our bodies heal, and our minds find clarity!
