I’m sharing this new Meatless Monday recipe, and I’m obsessed. Fluffy gnocchi swimming in a creamy, peppery poivre sauce with just the right kick. Let me know what do you think if you try it. Gnocchi “au poivre” sauce Serving 2 Prep time 5 min Cook time 20 minutes Ingredients 1 12 oz package of gnocchi 1 tbsp green pepper crushed 1 shallot diced 2 tbsp butter 1 cup beef or chicken broth 1/2 cup heavy cream Instructions In a large skillet over medium heat, add the crushed green peppercorns and toast for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir in the diced shallot and sauté until softened and golden, about 2-3 minutes. Pour in the beef or chicken broth, and heavy cream to the pan. Add gnocchi at the same time. Season with salt and simmer for 10-15 minutes until sauce thickens and gnocchi are soft. Divide the gnocchi between plates or bowls, and garnish with extra crushed peppercorns if desired.
