The Frank House Error - one of the hardest cards to find in the 1952 Topps Master Set! #bonkerscards #baseballcards #vintage #cardcollector
The most important part of a 1952 Topps Set - are the high numbers. An interesting fact about this series of cards that includes the most valuable card in the hobby, the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle, is that these cards were actually thrown out in the Hudson River in the 1950s. The demand for these cards were so low given that the series had been produced by the time kids were back in school and football cards had started to come out, so many department stores had to off-load the excess product. Today, finding even the Mantle in this 3.5 condition will yield you a return of $75,000-$100,000 on just that card alone. If only we had a time machine... #bonkerscards #baseballcards #vintage #sportscards #collectibles

The 1952 Ed Mathew’s Rookie Card from my recent 1952 Topps Master Set Find #baseballcards #vintage #bonkerscards
You likely have never heard the name "Frank Campos" unless you are a savvy vintage baseball card collector. His 1952 Topps card from the first ever set that Topps produced came in two variations - the black star error and the regular printed back. The collector who I purchased a complete 1952 Topps Master Set from had both variations, with the error as a PSA 7.5 - likely the highest graded version of this card available in existence. To have the opportunity to own this card has been surreal, and getting to share this story with my audience and further educate the hobby community is such a joy for me. Please follow along as I continue to show some of the most rare, valuable, and exciting baseball cards in the history of collecting! #bonkerscards #vintage #sportscards #collectibles
