Roto-Q Breakfast Fatty The classic “Breakfast Fatty” made even more fun on the Roto-Q 360! Scrambled eggs & cheese inside breakfast sausage, all wrapped up in a bacon weave. *Notes This recipe was totally for fun, probably easier just to place the fatty right on the grill or on a pan in the oven. I love playing with my food and love my Roto-Q! It was super satisfying watching this spin!! Ingredients * 14 slices bacon, thin sliced * 1 lb. Breakfast sausage * 4 scrambled eggs, seasoned to your liking * 1/2 cup shredded cheese * Optional: BBQ sauce or BBQ rub for the final step. I used a smoky maple seasoning. 1. Preheat oven or grill to 350°.
Lay 7 slices of bacon down on a piece of parchment paper. Weave in the remaining 7 bacon slices. Spread the breakfast sausage onto the bacon weave evenly. I ended up trimming some excess off the bacon, up to you. Add on the scrambled eggs and cheese. Roll the whole thing up. 2. Place fatty onto the Roto-Q rotisserie spit. I decided to wrap mine up in parchment & foil for the first part of the cook. I wanted the sausage to start cooking and be able to get sturdy.
Placed onto the Roto-Q 360, wound up the motor and placed in the oven. 3. I let this cook for about 1/2 hour then removed the parchment & foil. Then I coated the entire outside with @Four Sixes Ranch Smoky Maple seasoning. I decided to tie it up with butcher's twine around the spit just in case. I wound the motor again for good measure and placed back in the oven until the bacon was cooked and slightly crisp. I made sure the sausage temped at 165°. Rested and sliced. Save 10% @RotoQ360 !
