Brain cancer-I'm heartbroken to share that my husband was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma on April 22. Remarkably, he had displayed no symptoms other than a tingling lip. He was living life to the fullest, embracing every moment, until the day his tumor ruptured on June 11. Despite the odds, he fought bravely, but he passed away just days later, on June 22. His strength and zest for life will always be remembered. Thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time. #Glioblastoma #FightGlioblastoma #CancerAwareness #BrainTumor #NeverGiveUp #CancerFight #EndBrainCancer #HopeForACure #makingmemories #cancersucks #prayersforacure #mailforyou #feelingblessed #supportbracelet #GBM #BrainTumor #CancerAwareness #CancerFight #CancerWarrior #EndCancer #BrainCancer #CancerSupport #NeverGiveUp #CancerResearch #StrongerTogether #StayStrong #CancerCommunity #widow #widowsoftictok #widowlife #alone #single
**Missing Michael and Lady’s Silent Sorrow** It’s hard to put into words just how much I miss Michael. His laughter, his kindness, and the way he always seemed to know just what to say to brighten a day are irreplaceable. Each corner of the house feels a little emptier without him, and the memories we created together replay in my mind like a cherished movie. But it’s not just me who feels this absence—Lady, his beloved dog, is missing him too. She wanders around the house, her tail down, searching for him in all the familiar spots. When I call her name, her ears perk up, and for a brief moment, I can see the hope in her eyes that maybe today will be the day Michael walks through the door. It breaks my heart to see her waiting by the window, looking out as if expecting him to return. Michael had a special bond with Lady. They shared a language all their own, and it’s evident that she’s been feeling the loss just as deeply. I try to comfort her, taking her for long walks and playing her favorite games, but nothing can quite fill the void left by Michael’s absence. As the days go by, I hold onto the memories of our time together, knowing that both Lady and I will keep Michael in our hearts. He may not be here physically, but his spirit lives on in every wag of Lady’s tail and every fond memory we cherish. Here’s to hoping that he knows how much he is loved and missed by both of us. #Glioblastoma #FightGlioblastoma #CancerAwareness #BrainTumor #NeverGiveUp #CancerFight #EndBrainCancer #HopeForACure #makingmemories #cancersucks #prayersforacure #mailforyou #feelingblessed #supportbracelet #GBM #BrainTumor #CancerAwareness #CancerFight #CancerWarrior #EndCancer #BrainCancer #CancerSupport #NeverGiveUp #CancerResearch #StrongerTogether #StayStrong #CancerCommunity #widow #widowsoftictok #widowlife #alone #single

🌟 Exciting News 🌟 As we step into 2025, we are thrilled to announce a significant development. The International Pleroma Convocation (IPC) and Salama Cancer Center have come together to inaugurate the Mindful Feeding Initiative food bank at Salama Cancer Center in Kisumu, Kenya. The pivotal agreement was officially sealed at Salama Cancer Center by Ms. Otuoma, IPC's deputy executive director, and Dr. Watanga, Salama Cancer Center's Co-Founder and CEO. This innovative food bank is tailored to support cancer patients undergoing infusion chemotherapy treatment. The primary objective is to mitigate the adverse side effects of this treatment by ensuring patients, especially those from low socio-economic backgrounds, have access to biweekly provisions of nutritious food. Additionally, patients will receive guidance on portion control and healthy eating habits throughout their treatment journey, empowering them to sustain a well-nourished lifestyle post-treatment. Those outside the specified category will also benefit from food assistance during monthly nutrition education sessions at the center. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our existing partners who have already pledged their invaluable support in stocking the food bank with wholesome food options. We invite more collaborators to join us as we work towards opening the food bank to patients in Kisumu and surrounding areas by February 2025. For partnership inquiries, reach out to us at info@ipc-africa.org or dial +254102487248. Emphasizing a commitment to health, the food bank will exclusively offer whole grains, healthy cereals, and other nutritious selections. Patients can rest assured that processed foods and items containing preservatives will not be part of the offerings. The upcoming year holds promise for us as we embark on this transformative journey. Here's to a fulfilling and prosperous New Year, 2025! 🎉 #CommunityInitiative #CancerSupport #NutritionEducation @Int. Pleroma Convocation (IPC) @Mindful Food Program @Olivia Achieng Otuoma

Anyone else out there in this stage of their journey or have gone through it?? I know it could be worse. Trust me, I’m so happy and grateful to have gone through cancer and made it through treatment.
