Okay it’s actually turkey, but alls the same 😂 Canuary creators: @Mountain Heart Homestead (chicken stock vid tomorrow!) @It’s Jenn Again 🪴 @shay yvonne | homemaker ✝️🌷 @Savannah Barnett Chicken Pot Pie 4c cooked chicken 6 TB butter 1 onion, chopped 2 carrots, sliced 2 celery stalks, sliced 8 oz mushrooms 2 ears corn (or 1 can) 2-3 small potatoes, 1” chunks 3 garlic cloves, minced 2c chicken stock 1/4c heavy cream 2tsp salt 1/4tsp black pepper 1/4c flour Melt butter and sautee onion, carrot, corn, celery med-high heat 5 mins. Add mushroom, potato, garlic cook 3 mins. Add flour gradually before adding broth and cream. Simmer 1 min. Add salt and pepper to taste. Yields 4 quarts Quarts: PC 90 mins Pints: PC 75 mins Waterbath (rebel method): 3 hours **For under 1000 ft elevation. If you’re higher, you’ll need to add more time.** Canning flour and cream is a rebel recipe! If you’re not okay with that, can everything else and add those ingredients when you pull the jar out to cook. Processing times are the same. Jar contents will thicken as they process in the canner.
