So let's not be a blank slate I guess? I really enjoyed this chapter on my pursuit to be a great therapist, accepting my client where they are at and staying as true to myself as I can will benefit our relationship the most. No fake emotions welcome in the office. Definitely nice to know I won't have to conform to their thinking but I have to just accept it and let them freely express myself. We can both be two humans existing peacefully in the office together. First book of the year I am using to help teach me some skills before entering my practicum hours this fall. Any therapist have other book recommendations?
