pls follow my instagram i’m so serious  brown butter chocolate chip cookies 🍪  - 1/2 cup butter - 1/4 cup white sugar - 1/2 cup brown sugar  - 1 egg and 1 egg yolk - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract  - 1 1/2 cup flour - 1/4 tsp salt - 1/8 tsp baking soda - 2/3 cup chocolate chips 1. Preheat the oven to 350f  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a minute or so. Once it is frothy and golden brown, transfer it to a bowl. 3. Add the brown sugar and white sugar to the brown butter. Mix until combined. 4. Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla to the sugars and butter. Stir until smooth. 5. Add the flour, salt and baking soda and fold to combine. Add the chocolate chips. 6. Transfer to the greased pan and bake for 10-12 minutes. 7. rose cardamom macarons 🌹 macarons: 90g almond flour  84g powdered sugar  1/2 tsp ground cardamom  2 egg whites 64g sugar splash of vanilla extract  Food coloring if you want :) buttercream: 1/2 stick unsalted butter (softened) 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp rose syrup  1/2 tsp rose water 1. in a medium bowl add the egg whites and sugar. Whip on high with a hand or stand mixer. Once you’ve reached the soft peaks stage add in the vanilla extract and food coloring if you’re using it. Keep whipping until stiff peaks.  2. In a separate bowl sift the almond flour, powder sugar and cardamom. Wisk to get rid of the lumps.  3. Add the mixture into the bowl with the egg whites. Fold 40 ish times until your batter is just runny enough to make a figure 8. 4. Pipe into circles and let sit at room temp for 30-45 min or until a skin forms. 5. Bake at 300f for 16 minutes 6. Let cool for 20 minutes and fill with buttercream  7. For the buttercream: whip the butter until light in color. Add the rose syrup and rose water and beat till combined. Add the powdered sugar and mix till fluffy. Transfer to a piping bag. 8. Enjoy!! #macarons #cookingwithraina
last tiktok ever i guess 💔💔 see you guys on instagram ! scaling up the small red velvet cake recipe from Homemade in the Kitchen! cakes * 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour * 3 tbsp cornstarch * 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder * 1 tsp baking soda * 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar * 3/4 cup vegetable or canola oil * 3 large eggs room temp * 2 tsp red food coloring  * 3 tsp vanilla extract * 1 1/2 tsp white distilled vinegar * 3/4 cup buttermilk  frosting * 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened) * 8oz cream cheese * 2 cups powdered sugar * 1/2 tsp vanilla * 2 tbsp heavy cream 1. preheat the oven to 350 and grease 3, 6inch cake pans 2. mix the dry ingredients (flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder, baking soda) in a bowl. 3. in another bowl beat the oil and sugar. 4. mix in the vanilla, white vinegar, food coloring and eggs.  5. alternate adding the butter milk and dry ingredients in 3 additions. (begin and end with dry ingredients) 6. pour into prepared pans and bake for 20-25 minutes.  7. let cool while you make the frosting: whip the butter and cream cheese. add the powdered sugar, vanilla and heavy cream. beat till combined. 8. stack and frost the cake as desired 9. enjoy! #redvelvetcake #cookingwithraina
