Replying to @Eme Kennede yes declutter where you can and get rid of the things that you’re not going to use and don’t need anymore but for everything else that we decide to keep, we do need a reasonable way to store things. A lot of things that came out of here for me just involved decluttering but for everything else that I’m keeping it needs a good storage solution and that’s where the IKEA storage solution came in handy. This might not be everyone’s situation but for me in my household, which is a small business and a homeschool environment the basement has not been a priority. We’ve also had a series of life events that occurred that required my attention beyond decluttering a basement. Now that things have lightened up with a little help we knocking this room out. Once you realize that some debt can be an investment it changes your life. By all means do everything in cash if you can, but if you can’t and you need something be wise, get 0% interest cards and pay that stuff down as soon as possible Can. There’s no shame in using a food pantry and there’s certainly no shame in getting hand-me-downs, but when those hand-me-downs don’t work for you anymore, and you can afford to do a little bit more for you and your family, do it. Don’t waste time on getting things that don’t work. Get the thing you need, something modest and in your budget and never default. Pay that off as soon as you can, but I promise you for all the money you’re saving. I’m not going out to eat. You’ll be able to pay it off a lot faster.
