S/S: Fever, headache, and a stiff neck (note: while a stiff neck is a big indicator, it isn't always present), nausea, vomiting, confusion or difficulty concentrating, seizures, sleepiness or difficulty waking up, sensitivity to light, lack of interest in drinking and eating, skin rash in some cases. 2️⃣ Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Exposure to carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless gas that can lead to poisoning and is potentially fatal. S/S: Dull headache, weakness, dizziness, nausea or vomiting, shortness of breath, confusion, blurred vision, loss of consciousness. 3️⃣ Tension Pneumothorax
A severe form of pneumothorax where air enters the pleural space and cannot escape, putting pressure on the lung and heart. S/S: Severe chest pain, rapid heart rate, rapid breathing, shortness of breath, cyanosis (bluish tint to the skin), distended neck veins, low blood pressure, altered level of alertness.
