This is  why itā€™s so importantšŸ‘‡ Your witness is multidimensional.  The way you treat others, your relationship with God, and yourself all need to be aligned with Godā€™s word. If not, people will see an imitation of the wrong thing.  If all you do is eat healthy most of the time and take walks everyday, youā€™re doing something worth doing to keep your body healthy and live well before others. Not for your own glory, but His. If youā€™re in a state of overwhelm or frustration with the way your health habits have been, please donā€™t beat yourself up about it.  Take it from me, we all struggle when we walk alone. These things donā€™t just slow us downā€”they can bring sickness, burden, and limitations that keep us from serving God at our fullest capacity.  šŸ¤”And guess what?  The enemy loves it when weā€™re stuck in that cycle. He wants us to be distracted, exhausted, and held back. šŸ™ŒBut hereā€™s the good news: You donā€™t have to stay there. The Bible says, ā€œWhether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of Godā€ (1 Corinthians 10:31). That includes how you care for your body! Itā€™s time to take action: āœ… Start eating healthier. āœ… Get movingā€”even if itā€™s just a daily walk. āœ… Rest and manage stress biblically. āœ… Reach out for help if you need it. But I was positioned for it by going to church, surrounding myself with godly people, and working at a gym. My atmosphere changed and my life followed. When you change your atmosphere, your expectations change.  Who youā€™re surrounded by consistently can have a major impact on the way you think which deeply affects the way you act. But even more importantly than my atmosphere, my mind and heart started changing, and thatā€™s why I say it took divine intervention. As I started reading the Bible and going to church, I started being force to address my belief systems and thought patterns.  My mind was being renewed and it lead to transformation. So if you want to change, I encourage you to start where no one elseā€™s can see and allow your mind to be renewed. Permit yourself to grow by embracing biblical concepts and allow those whare where you want to be to guide you. Plainly put, get around people who donā€™t smoke or eat fast food. If you can do this, use this!šŸ‘‡ Iā€™ve watched clients walk off 40, 50, 60, even 100lbs with decent nutrition. Not perfect. Itā€™s something we donā€™t do nearly as much as we used to and weā€™re seeing the repercussions of that. If youā€™ll commit to a daily walking goal and strive to improve your step count average, duration, speed over a certain distance, or incline at least every other week. The beautiful thing is that you can start small. You can do 5 minutes. You can go as fast as you want to. Itā€™s simple and you know how to do it with confidence.
