What you need to avoid RIGHT HERE! ✨ Hey 👋🏼 Jill here not long ago I was getting started with
#flowerfarming and now this is what my family does full time - since I’ve learned through good ole trial and error I’m on a mission to help others wanting to get started in cut flowers all the time. I’ve noticed some themes though (been guilty here so don’t worry) but here’s what we need to avoid, Are you ready? 1️⃣ Quit growing all the flowers! YES - you heard me right, you don’t need to grow all the flowers to be successful if you hone in on what you grow you’ll be more successful and probably less stressed in the long run. 2️⃣ Avoid growing until you know and understand your market. I see this all the time! We get excited, I get it and we do mistake number one and grow all the things only to find out we have no idea who our customer or ideal market is and we are stuck with a ton of flowers and no way to move them. 3️⃣ Don’t give your flowers away. When starting we tend to undervalue ourselves, question if our bouquets are worth selling, and know what to sell them for, so instead we lowball ourselves and barely break even at best. Know what your time is worth, know what your blooms are worth, and charge accordingly! Ready to dive in? I put all my tips and tricks for growing cut flowers for profit into my online webinar and ebook to make it super simple for you to choose those beginner-friendly flowers, understand your markets, and sell your blooms!
