weekend baking always includes sourdough focaccia but this time we’re turning it into a cinnamon roll !!! RECIPE ⬇️ 1. i used my sourdough focaccia recipe on my blog at abrightmoment.com 2. early in the morning, i transferred the fermented focaccia dough to a greased baking dish. 3. in a separate bowl, mixed together 1 cup granulated cane sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. also melted 4 tablespoon butter. 4. brush the focaccia dough with half the melted butter then add half the cinnamon-sugar mixture. fold the dough in half then gently stretch out from underneath to fit the pan. 5. grease your hands with olive oil to create some dimples then let rest in a warm environment 3-4 hours to finish rising. 3. before baking, brush the remaining melted butter and cinnamon-sugar on top then create the dimples and bake as normal. 4. let cool at least 20 minutes before adding the glaze. let the glaze rest 10-20 minutes to set, then enjoy!! for the glaze: 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 tbsp milk, or water 1 tsp vanilla extra - mix until smooth, adding a little more water as need for a thick but runny glaze!! #sourdough #sourdoughrecipes #sourdoughfocaccia #focaccia #cinnamonrolls #focacciabread
