When I first started freelancing, I tried to attract anyone and everyone. Spoiler: that didn’t work. It wasn’t until I got crystal clear on who I wanted to serve that I started landing clients who actually valued my work and paid me what I deserved. Here’s how you can do the same: ➡️ Define Your Ideal Client: Think demographics, pain points, and goals. For me, it’s food bloggers and dietitians who are overwhelmed by social media, admin work, and design - and need help reclaiming their time. ➡️ Do Your Homework: Spend time where your audience hangs out (Facebook groups, forums, etc.). Listen to what they struggle with. Their words are GOLD for understanding how to serve them better. ➡️ Adjust Your Offers: Build packages based on what your audience actually needs, not what you think they want. I focused on helping small businesses boost their online presence, and it’s been a game-changer. Stop casting a wide net - it’s time to attract clients who truly get your value. Who’s YOUR dream client?
