// REPOST // Last year on this day I was tinkering with one of the games that pushed the PS2 to its absolute limits. The legendary BLACK With the new updates on PCXS2 I might need to revisit this soon. Also this is just how I play, I am not claiming this is the "best" way or the way you should play. Play how you want. I support it. #blackps2 #ps2games #gamingmemories 34s
// READ BEFORE COMMENTING // *There is way too much to cover with Ship of Harkinian to fit in one video. I will be posting a much more in depth YT tutorial soon. Think of this as a teaser trailer. * This is simply how I play. I’m NOT claiming this is the best way nor the way YOU should play. Take what you like. Ignore what you don't. * If you think the OG game wasn’t as blurry or pixelated as shown. Watch my pinned video “How resolution works” If you’re still unsure, look up the games native resolution and compare that to your phone’s. Keep in mind the footage is zoomed to fit the aspect ratio of your device. * Before you correct a resolution definition, please note that emulators provide intervals of native resolution rather than standard values of “2k” or “4k”. *I set internal resolutions higher than my display resolution on purpose, this is called “super sampling” and does improve fidelity slightly. * Before commenting anything along the lines of “How I play, put the disc in the console” I’m happy for you. Play how you want! * For Steam Deck, if you are running windows and NOT SteamOS all my videos will work. * I’ve never emulated using a phone, unfortunately I cannot help you. * OBS drops frames while recording, frame drops are usually from OBS, not the game. * Do not ask where to pirate games * PC specs are in my Bio * My linktree links to a spreadsheet “Resource Bible” where I’ve compiled the links for everything I cover. * You can support the podcast and my work by joining Patreon / discord and/or donating to request a game. #ocarinaoftime #n64games #gamingmemories

// RESPOST // Posted this video a year ago to the day. Happy anniversary ! None of the options have changed so far minus PCXS2 has had a few updates and runs this game even better now. it's worth trying out if you really want to play the OG. I personally think the remake is pretty awesome too tho. #shadowofthecolossus #ps2games #gamingmemories
// MORE INFO // More in-depth tutorial and a extended gameplay showcase with my setting on my YT. Yes I know lots of people hate this game, I don't. I can't wait for all the "yeah but does this fix the game" comments. This is just how I play, not claiming it is the best way nor the way you should play. Take what you like, disregard what you don't. Thanks for the support. #ps2games #dirgeofcerberus #gamingmemories
Mod & Footage Cred: "Live Like a Rock" I tried to find a leak of this pretty hard and the creator hasn't let it slip anywhere. There is a 3rd person "cheat" in duckstation for MGS1 but it retains the games orignal control and it's damn near unplayable. Fun to tinker with tho. #metalgearsolid #ps1games #gamingmemories

// INFO // Full 4K / 60 FPS Ultra wide version is on my YouTube. Would be huge help if you went over there, checked it out and liked / subbed. // THOUGHTS // FF VII Remake is such a love hate game for me. However, some of the art direction is straight S++ tier. The mix between environments and traditional sky boxes is seamless & innovative. The facial animations and cutscenes were also top tier. The Shinra building changes I was not a fan of at all. I feel the really botched the build of never seeing Sephiroth, only the damage in his wake. Lastly, I didn't want KH style multiverse / lifestream realities / "remake the timeline" I can play KH if I want that nonsense. Either way I will be playing Rebirth on PC. So they get my money regardless. #finalfantasy7remake #gamecinematography #gamingmemories

It's also really cool that Max bankrolled this as a genuine fan. PRAISE THE FANS! #marvelvscapcominfinite #fangames #gamingmemories

// REPOST // This time last year I played thru FF XII and absolutely loved it. There are so many options with this game you can tweak almost everything to your personal preference. I also compiled a montage of my favorite cinematic shots on my YT which would help the channel out if you checked out, liked & subbed. Link in my bio to spreadsheet "resource bible" that has links to all these mods and everything I have covered. The before shots at the beginning were pulled from an old recording that was really low quality, the OG was pixelated but not THAT blurry. This is just how I play, not claiming it's the best way nor the way you should play. Play how you want. #ffxii #ps2games #gamingmemories
// YADA YADA YADA // This game was surprisingly good, and difficult. I enjoyed Human Revolution but didn't play Mankind Divided until recently. It should have gotten more praise. Solid game. Still looks great all these years later. Everyone pronounces this game different. If you think I said it wrong , I looked it up from multiple sources. So there's that. Full 4K / 60 FPS version with RTGI lighting on my YT. Share the good news of the gaming gospel and yee shall be blessed. #deusexmankinddivideded #machinima #gamingmemories
