In case you need a little inspo for your meal prep this week, these are the things I prioritize  each week for my gut health. 1. Heavy cream. Not for any reason other than coffee is my happy thing and cream is my favorite way to enjoy it.  I use purity brand mold free beans. 2. My meal prep smoothie! I used to try to get sprouts in on my meals but it became hard to keep up with. So now I make this smoothie while I prep on Sundays and I drink the leftover on Monday morning. This way I get a whole box of sprouts in weekly (while they are freshest!) They are nutrient power houses and I just feel great after.  3. Flax seeds (or chia or both) for motility and omega fatty acids. It’s best to grind flax seeds in something like a coffee bean grinder and store in the fridge. Soak chia seeds overnight. (Don’t try to eat the seeds raw). I eat 2 TBSP of seeds per day.  4. Beans! West brae brand because they are organic and pressure cooked. OR make your own from dried. Unpopular opinion but the polyphenols in whole grains are incredible for gut health. They also contain more vitamins/ minerals. Swap your white rice for black rice ONE TIME and you’ll be hooked.  7. A full produce drawer. At the end of the day, if you just do this, your gut will be in good shape. When in doubt (or not sure what to make), air fry or stir fry your veggies with some olive oil and salt. Snack on apples and carrots. In case you need a little inspo for your meal prep this week, these are the things I prioritize each week for my gut health. 1. Heavy cream. Not for any reason other than coffee is my happy thing and cream is my favorite way to enjoy it. I use purity brand mold free beans. 2. My meal prep smoothie! I used to try to get sprouts in on my meals but it became hard to keep up with. So now I make this smoothie while I prep on Sundays and I drink the leftover on Monday morning. This way I get a whole box of sprouts in weekly (while they are freshest!) They are nutrient power houses and I just feel great after. 3. Flax seeds (or chia or both) for motility and omega fatty acids. It’s best to grind flax seeds in something like a coffee bean grinder and store in the fridge. Soak chia seeds overnight. (Don’t try to eat the seeds raw). I eat 2 TBSP of seeds per day. 4. Beans! West brae brand because they are organic and pressure cooked. OR make your own from dried.
