✨⭐️Follow @thebrowniesempire✨⭐️ ✴️ It’s been a while since I’ve shared a recipe reel—two months, to be exact. My mom passed away, and cooking just hasn’t felt the same. It brings back memories of her pain and the fire that started in the kitchen while she was making tea. It’s been really hard, but I’m slowly taking small steps to reconnect with cooking, and heal. Today, I came up with a simple recipe, and I really wanted to share it with all of you. I hope you’ll try it ✴️ 👉Ingredients: 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs 2 tbsp tandoori or Tikka masala 1/2 tbsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp turmeric, garam masala 1 tbsp garlic paste (optional), 1 tbsp Greek yogurt 1 cup rice, 1/2 tsp turmeric 4 tbsp Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp vinegar 1/4 Shredded Lettuce 1 Chopped Tomato 👉Instructions: 👉Marinate chicken with spices, garlic paste, and yogurt for 1 hour (optional, I didn't wait for an hour). 👉Sear chicken on both sides, chop into cubes, and sear again. 👉Cook rice with turmeric, drain, and steam on low for 5-10 minutes. 👉Mix Greek yogurt, mayo, and vinegar for white sauce. Serve rice, top with chicken cubes, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and drizzle with white sauce!
