Haat Bazaar’s haleem >>>> Haleem is a South-Asian dish that’s a hybrid of porridge and curry. Yes I just made that up, but tell me not??? This one here is a Bangladeshi-style that has a thinner consistency, and has wheat and lentils cooked into it. It can be made with chicken, beef, or goat. Yes, this is very hearty dish. 😌 While it’s typically eaten during occasions and events, some Bangladeshi restaurants usually have it hot and ready so it’s still pretty available if you’re in the mood for it. Haat Bazaar Restaurant is fairly well known for theirs. If you take the time to scroll down our page back to 2018 or something, you’ll find a photo I took of their haleem. 😂 Video’ed here is the one with goat. It comes garnished with cilantro, sliced ginger, fried onions and a lime or lemon on the side. This restaurant I believe only does haleem in beef or goat (but I could be wrong). This hits really nice in 26 degree weather.
