#hallwayinspo celebrates creative hallway designs, showcasing unique decor, vibrant colors, and aesthetic lighting. It inspires viewers to transform their hallways into inviting, stylish spaces that reflect personal taste and creativity.
Before and after of my hallway! This was such an easy DIY project and only took me one day to complete! I used the leftover shiplap from our fireplace build and added this accent wall in the hallway outside our master bedroom. I love how it all flows now in the living room (check out the stories and story highlight “hallway” to see!) I also wrote a blog post with all the how to’s so check that out also if you plan on tackling this project yourself! Paint color is “tricorn black” by Sherwin Williams I debated lots on keeping the baseboard white or painting black - but, my gut said paint - and I think I love it! I feel like it extends the wall and makes it appear taller. I also painted my baseboards black on the fireplace, so overall I just feel like it flows! I then added these large Matted Frames and a battery-powered/ rechargeable picture light. So no wiring is needed, you simply just screw the base to the wall and the light pops on and off easily when you need to recharge! It’s also super affordable - under $40! And comes in 6 different finishes and two different sizes. Mine here is the “Antique Brass” and 16”. Shoe problem? I did too until I found these affordable Amazon shoe cabinets! 🔗 at the top of my page in my bio! They went out of stock for an awhile but they are back and on sale for $109! They totally solved all the stray kids shoes that are constantly on the loose in my home! Read my Pros and Cons below on these! Pro: -Sleek design - I love the light wood with the cane doors -Narrow, so they are perfect for narrow hallways like mine -Super affordable. I pushed two together in my space. I have three kids and they have a lot of shoes 😅 -Each cabinet fits 6-9 pairs of shoes depending on shoe size Cons: -Because these cabinets are narrow they do not fit big shoes. My husband is a size 12 and they would not close straight up with his shoes. You can always place sideways however, they will just fit less shoes. My tennis shoes and booties fit just fine and I’m a womens size 9. -The hardware that it comes with is not good (plastic silver handles). I updated with these beautiful brass ones also from Amazon. (They come in a pack of 5 for $26 or pack of 10 for $50). But you can find any other hardware with 3.75” hole width and it would work! I will link the hardware I used as well.
