Not only is it entirely antithetical to everything Justin's platform and he as a man claims to value, but it is incredibly damaging to the conversation about domestic violence, harm against women and how to give victims space and room to have the courage to speak up. I doubt anyone looking at this situation and the way that so many have been bullied and silenced will feel encouraged or empowered to speak up against the men who harm them. Every good this movie was intended to do, has been completely undone. Since then his PR team has continued this PR war almost daily for over a month, creating a social media backlash towards anyone who has offered Lively public support.
