Finally, after 213 days I'm finally seeing "I Like Flowers" in person! If you've been here for a little while, back in May I previewed the upcoming FW24 Hermès scarf collection. Every time a new collection comes out I always hope for a rerelease of one scarf in particular and THIS time it happened! I saw "I Like Flowers" was being rereleased in a 70cm, my favorite size. Originally it was released in 2013 in a 90cm (which I also have preowned). Now the day is finally here, most of the colors are in so I went to the store to see them all together! They are all so beautiful, but I have 2 favorites. ALSO can we talk about the wild card that my SA pulled out. My mom was looking at Pele-Mele in a 70cm and just for fun she showed me that Pele-Mele also comes in a version with a buckle! I never would have looked at this one if I hadn't seen it in person and I ended up absolutely loving it. And speaking of leather, I also really loved the little new leather cover Chaine d'Ancre. Cooke release this season. In The Pocket was also released in a Twilly version and was originally released in 2007 in a 90. We are also getting another Leigh P. Cooke next season in a Twilly format which will be Vos A Crayons! Additionally also loving Un Carre sur l’Herbe by Nikki Maloof and Brides de Gala en Fleurs by Christine Henry! Those may be coming home with me soon too. Traveling with Hermes scarves: what is the best way to pack them? The best way l've found is in Ziplock bags. They keep the scarves flat, they pack easily, are safe from moisture, and the a gallon size is the same exact size as a folded scarf from a 140cm to a 45cm and everything in between. Plus you can reuse them the next time or take a new one to ensure they are clean. I don't recommend plastic as a long term storage solution because fabric should be able to breathe, but for short term, I love these. It was released in 1998 and features a stacked cast with Leonardo DiCaprio, Winona Ryder, Charlize Theron, Judy Davis and more. Now, this scarf might look familiar if you saw my last “As Seen In” Sunday scarf ID with Sharon Stone in “Basic Instinct” because that scarf features the same bee motif seen in “Celebrity”. And about 4 months ago I ID’d this scarf for the first time on Tilda Swinton in “The Souvienir”. So which scarf is it? Melanie Griffith is wearing “Napoleon” by Philippe Ledoux, originally released in 1963 and she is wearing the white colorway with burgundy and gold accents. Such a fabulous classic.
