Earlier in the month was national quitters day Turns out it’s the day research shows that 80% of people who set New Year’s resolutions taps out by now. This totally used to be me. I would quit before I even got started. I stopped making new year resolutions around my health and fitness and made a lifestyle change instead. These are the top tips I give to my clients who want to make their health and fitness a lifestyle and not another New Year’s resolution. 1. WHAT IS YOUR WHY? This stuck with me when I first started my journey because 5 months into me making my lifestyle change my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I took care of my body so I could take care of her. I showed up everyday for my health cause she couldn’t. Find your WHY! 2. Find a workout routine that brings you joy. I learned that I loved to lift and walk. My body enjoyed and so did my brain. There is something for everyone. After 90 days I realized moving my body became more for my mental health. I felt so good even after a walk. Just start moving more! 3. Don’t deprive yourself. When I changed my eating habits I didn’t give up everything enjoyed. I followed a plan but also had balance in my life. 4. Stop throwing in the towel so early. I see people who throw in the towel just a few days or weeks in. Give yourself 90 days and be consistent and honest with yourself. If something doesn’t feel right talk to your doctor and get your labs checked! Advocate for yourself. Don’t give up on yourself so easy. And take progress pictures! I’m helping others create lifestyle changes.. if you’d like to learn more and join my free wellness collective comment below ⬇️ #10monthspostpartum #pregnancyafterloss #postpartumbody #postpartumfitness #progressvideo #creatorsearchinsight #howimotivatemyself#creatorsearchinsights
