howtoanswerinterviewquestions hashtag performance

The TikTok hashtag #howtoanswerinterviewquestions features tips, strategies, sample responses, confidence boosters, mock interviews, common questions, body language advice, personal anecdotes, industry insights, and encouragement for job seekers navigating interviews.
⬇️ Did you know that there are 5 types of interview questions? Standard, Behavioral, Personality, Brain Teaser and Technical.   Questions like: “Tell us about yourself” and “Walk us through your resume” are standard interview questions that interviewers usually ask at the beginning of an interview to get you to open up.   🧑🏽‍💻Standard interview questions are the most common and all about YOU therefore they are the easiest to practice.   When someone asks you, “Tell us about yourself” 🎯Follow this formula, PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE   1️⃣ Tell them a little bit about our past, why you majored in your major in college, what you did in your first jobs. 2️⃣ Then Present, tell them what you are currently doing. What qualifies you for this job. 3️⃣ Then lastly, talk to them about where you see yourself in the future. And spoiler alert, you should tell them that you see yourself at this company doing this job in the future.   🧠 For a full list of interview questions to prepare for get an Interviewology Profile to discover your interview style #howtoanswerinterviewquestions #jobinterivew #corporatejobs #interviewquestions #interviewtips #interviewprep #tellmeaboutyourself
⬇️Don’t be afraid to ask “Why is the position open?”

At the end of a job interview they are going to say, “Do you have any questions for us?” and you should be prepared with impressive questions for them,

👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 impressive questions to ask at the end of a job interview👈

❌It’s NOT illegal to ask why the position is open
❌It’s NOT nosey.
❌It’s not a secret.

👩🏾‍💻Asking why the position is open gives you a lot of great information.

✅Perhaps the position is new because the company is doing so well.

✅Perhaps the person who worked in the role got promoted and you can ask them what that person did so well to be promoted.

✅Perhaps they moved on to a new company and you get the feeling that it wasn’t a good fit, this allows you to ask questions about what they are looking for now.

🎯No matter what their answer you will get great insight into who this company is, how they manage and if you want to work there.

⬇️ You Need to Have 5 Weaknesses Prepared for Your Next Job Interview @Anna Papalia

🧐When a interviewer asks you, “What are your weaknesses” ❌Don’t panic and whatever you do don’t say that you’re a perfectionist 👉Watch this @Anna Papalia for 8 Weaknesses to use in a job interview 👈

🎯Here are 4 great example answers,

✅”I sometimes find it difficult to delegate responsibility when I feel I can finish the task well myself. However, when I became manager in my last role, it became critical I learn to delegate tasks. To maintain a sense of control when delegating tasks, I implemented a project management system to oversee the progress of a project. This system enabled me to improve my ability to delegate efficiently."

✅”Oftentimes, I can be timid when providing constructive feedback to coworkers or managers, out of fear of hurting someone's feelings. However, in my last role, my coworker asked me to edit some of his pieces and provide feedback for areas of improvement. Through my experience with him, I realized feedback can be both helpful and kind when delivered the right way. Since then, I've become better at offering feedback, and I've realized that I can use empathy to provide thoughtful, productive feedback."

✅”I'm not great at analyzing data or numbers. However, I recognize this flaw can prevent me from understanding how my content is performing online. In my last role, I set up monthly meetings with the SEO manager to discuss analytics and how our posts were performing. Additionally, I received my Google Analytics certificate, and I make it a point to analyze data related to our blog regularly. I've become much more comfortable analyzing data through these efforts."

✅”Public speaking makes me nervous. While I don't need to do much public speaking in my role as a web designer, I still feel that it's an important skill — especially when I want to offer my opinion during a meeting. To combat this, I spoke with my manager and she recommended I speak at each team meeting for a few minutes about our project timeline, deadlines, and goals when developing a website for a client. This practice has enabled me to relax and see public speaking as an opportunity to help my team members do their jobs effectively."
