Why the hell do I do this, and why should you? 🤷🏻‍♂️ There are only 2 reasons I cold plunge ⬇️ (#2 is my main reason) 1️⃣ Energy Boost I believe morning plunges are a great way to kickstart the day, but for me, I’ve found that a mid-day plunge works even better for my schedule. Since I work mostly from home, I have the flexibility to jump in, reset, and get right back to my day. If I have 4-5 client sessions in the morning and another 4-5 in the late afternoon, I’m left with a few hours in the middle of the day. The mid-day plunge gives me the second wind I need to stay sharp and on top of my game for the rest of the day. Now, I know most of you don’t work from home or have a personal trainer’s schedule, but ideally, you can try a morning plunge before work. Ride that wave of energy as long as you can with the added benefit of 👇🏼 2️⃣ Strengthen My Mental Resilience This is, hands down, the best benefit of cold plunging. Let’s be real. Cold plunges are brutal. Every time I jump into that bucket of water, it’s a mental battle. My mind races to create excuses and fears, but you must push through. And when you do, everything else throughout the day feels easier. Stressful situations? Hard conversations? Tough workouts? They don’t hit the same after conquering that plunge. It’s like building a mental muscle. Every plunge makes me stronger, more disciplined, and ready to take on whatever life throws at me.
